A woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was found dead at a home on Christmas Day.
Police were rushed to a house in Norton Canes, Staffs at around 3.25am this morning to find a man had suffered a cardiac arrest.
Officers arrived at the scene and the 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police were seen at the scene today and a spokesman for the force said they would remain in the area as their investigation continued.
A 33-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody, it confirmed.
The man's next of kin have also been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The police said that an autopsy will be conducted tomorrow.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: 'A 33-year-old woman from Cannock has been arrested on suspicion of murder and has been remanded in custody.
'A scene remains at the address while the investigation continues and is expected to remain in place for several days.'
The man's next of kin have been informed and are now being supported by specially trained officers.
An autopsy is scheduled for Boxing Day morning, police said.
