Quarterbacks aren't the only ones in the NFL giving generous Christmas gifts this holiday season, as Kansas City Chiefs star Justin Reid bought a brand new car for six local kids.
Reid stopped by a local Ford dealership in Kansas in a Santa suit for his second annual 'Just-in-Time for the Holidays' event. Part of the nightly promotion is giving away Christmas gifts to more than 50 local children.
According to KCTV, Bonnie Strutton had a huge reveal with a new SUV, her current car in the shop, and what she considers a 'gas guzzler'.
As soon as Reed presented the new car to Strutton, she burst into tears. She attended the event only so that her children could participate.
'I don't even know what to say,' said Stratton. 'I'm speechless.'
'It was one thing after another. It is such a blessing. Good things keep happening, you just have to keep doing the next right thing.'

It is unclear how Reed heard about Stratton and the struggles she faced in her life. However, he did not hesitate to jump into action.
“She's doing the next right thing the same way, we want to do the next right thing and figure out her situation and help her with a brand new vehicle,” Reed said. 'We are all excited to play a small part in Bonnie's story. We are delighted to see her continue on her journey.'
Stratton is also celebrating 30 months of sobriety this holiday season.
The gifting came last week as Reid is now in Pennsylvania as the Chiefs make last-second preparations for Wednesday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
'To bring all my children back into my life and it's going to be more of a connection than anyone will ever know,' says Stratton. 'Don't give up on yourself. People will see, hear and love you so don't give up before the miracle happens.
